I have extraordinary patience, to wait over four hours for a noon appointment would be unprecedented.

...You know, eventually. I've actually let a few of the baseball picks that were an hour or two late go before. The noon cutoff isn't a hard and fast rule, it's more to make sure that there aren't people making picks right as the game starts, hence why it's always noon instead of, I don't know, 6pm or whatever. It's just easier to have a big buffer zone to make sure people get their picks made welllllllll before kickoff/tipoff/faceoff/insert sports term here, rather than have any confusion as to whether the pick was made before the game started or not. 4 hours isn't a big deal. 11, however...

All I know is it wasn't up a few days before so I just assumed there was a few day window. Us ladies normally read things, so I really had a lapse of paying attention I guess. This baseball season I really have to pretend that my team is a good team or I'd be crying.
