Hi everybody!
It's time for weekly TER baseball, and the more observant among you will have already noted that this week is a special week - but let's take care of the formalities first, shall we? I know you know but in case we have new friends, it's real simple, pick the winner of ESPN's Sunday night baseball game correctly BEFORE 5PM EASTERN ON SUNDAY to win yourself 2 VIP days. It's so simple I feel bad explaining it every week.
Now, as the Mets are my team, there is a special (read: valueless) prize (read: nothing) for picking them; namely I will think much, much more highly of you as a person as clearly you are a person of fantastic taste and indisputable acumen. Refunds are available for (unlikely) unhappy winners, but please remember that in most aspects of life you get what you pay for.
This week's tentative pitching matchup will see Tanner Roark on the mound for Montr-... er, Washington, and currently ESPN doesn't have a prediction for the good guys. Rest assured whoever gets the nod will be outstanding; how can they not be? Days have been awarded for last week's game, and as always, good luck everybody!
P.S. can you tell I enjoy making these posts?
P.P.S. I can't bring myself to write something on Mayweather/McGregor like I mentioned previously. I have so many thoughts on it but the process of putting them together in a way I'm happy with is just angering me. On that note though I'd highly recommend Bryan Curtis's piece on The Ringer (link below), as it rather perfectly sums up where I am on it.
