what a sloppy game!
If the Red Sox don't win the next two games, I think they can kiss the division goodbye. Plus, they only have a one game lead on Texas for the wildcard and Tampa is only 3 games back. Boston claimed Billy Wagner off waivers from the Mets. If they can work out a trade for him, and he has anything left after surgery, he can help. But their starting pitchers are hurting them more than anything. But the Yanks are on a roll at the right time.
Didn't see the game last night, next two games are critical for the Red Sox! As previous post indicated, it could be all over the Red Sox soon.
Tomorrow, however, is likely to be a low scoring game given the starting pitchers.

Beckett pretty good. It's starting to look bleak for Boston. Texas is breathing right up their fantail for the wildcard.
I hope it continues this way for the Yankees, because I have no sympathy whatsoever for the Red Sox! But the season isn't over yet.
team since the all-star break. I like their post-season chances. On the other hand, the Red Sox are going to have difficulty holding off Texas and the Rays.
