Leach is now saying that Craig James has been the major

force behind all the complaints concerning his son.  Leach claims that Craig James was annoyed by the lack of playing time for his son, and has since created all this fuss and has caused Leach's firing.  I have no facts or verified knowledge about this case, but I tend to believe Leach, because Craig James has always impressed me as being an arrogant ass, and I can see him doing all the things that Leach has said he did.  Craig James, IMHO, likely DID use his position at ESPN to try to influence TT against Leach.  If this is true, then ESPN ought to fire his ass, something they probably should have done years ago!

My first comment about this whole mess when it first happened was concerning James' kid and whether or not he was a prima-donna because of who his Dad is. Looks like maybe I was dead on plus the Texas Tech head trainer has come out and said that Adam was never "locked up" after his concussion and was constantly monitored by the training staff.
"Daddy Ball" runs rampant in youth, high school and college sports these days and sometimes it gets ugly.

I don't watch/listen to them all that much, but the times I have and there's been conversation regarding Notre Dame, he seems to be at ease with whatever situation regarding his son at ND.

But back to the Leach situaiton, I believe Texas Tech had some "concerns" about the exorbitant contract that gave Leach, and used this opportunity to try and wiggle out.  Who knows, maybe "somebody" on the inside egged James on.

did not tell him about this sooner so dad gave jr. a whippin and locked him in the closet

really surprised by what Leach said. The trainers and team doctors backed up what Leach said. Many of the Tech players were backing up James this week, but I agree with everyone else that this was Tech's way of getting out of contract they never really wanted to sign.

Keep in mind that TT has a track record of doing this before.  When Spike Dykes was there, he was treated like dirt when some of the alumni started some of the same crap.  And then also after BB coach Bobby Knight started winning there, all of a sudden he was a problem, even tho they knew his reputation when he was hired.  Now the primadonna son of the SMU goldenboy isn't getting the reps that he thinks he should, cries to daddy that he has been "mistreated".  BOO HOO!!
