Until I read the post regarding Jackson, I had not read, seen or heard anything about the WNBA in years.

But yeah, the WNBA is out there.  sure, isn't the NBA in terms of quality, athleticism, or attendance, but it is the sport in a fashion that more resembles the game that Dr. Naismith developed than the Phi-Slamma-Jamma, ego-filled NBA, and that is why some people (like myself) are able to appreciate it.  There may not be the level across the board of great players, but the three I named in my previous post, plus quite a few more, are great players, and I don't think anyone would say the NBA back in George Mikan's time could keep up with what the NBA has become.  You have to start somewhere, and the more history and support the WNBA (and the women's NCAA teams) get, the better the game will get.

Plus, Sue Bird is hot...

Danica lives in my neighborhood in AZ, I see her once in awhile, she's a hottie for sure, but there's way better here. I prefer Dara Torres the milf swimmer!
