I guess in big markets you can do that. When you throw as much money in payroll as these teams did you expect a world series. 60 mil payroll like our's in milwaukee who you gonna find thats better than what you got

Sorry Joe, but we hold our managers to higher standards. We have alot of young talent and we need a new skipper.

would have been more patient before hiring their new manager (ex-Minnesota Twins skipper Ron Gardenshire).  I would be much happier with Joe Girardi, Dusty Baker, or John Farrell at the helm.  Oh well, a long, painful rebuilding process is beginning in Motown, and a return to respectability is far away in the future.
