Just got home from the game.  Our offensive line even showed up.  Freshman QB did a good job and defense held UCSD to 39 yards rushing.  Not a bad start.  Hope we can play decent against the Rocky Toppers next weekend.  Go Bruins!

Pretty good job by the defense in holding UCSD to 39 yards rushing considering that UCSD doesn't have a football team. But then UCLA didn't play UCSD.  The game was against San Diego State.

I give both team kudos for scheduling each other for the first game of the season. Unlike some other teams that play a very soft opening schedule. Like UCLA vs SDSU and some others.

Congratulations to BYU, but Bradford being knocked out of the game may have had a lot to do with it!

Am I bad or what?  Well they had cool looking red and black uniforms.  It was one of the SD teams.  Maybe it was the Chargers.

Yes UCLA schedule is soft but we have so been sucking. Give us a break.   Do you really think they get to pick who they play in their home opener?

must have out weighed the Navy line by at least 50 pounds per man. None of the Navy players will be drafted nor were any of them highly regarded high school recruits yet through discipline and hard work they played OHIO ST. mano and mano and came inches within victory.
