Anybody see the fight at the end of the Boise State-Oregon game?

An Oregon player cold-cocked a Boise State player (who probably taunted him) right on the jaw, and then, after being restrained by coaches and players on his own team, went after fans on his way to the lockerroom.  The police had to grab him and escort him out of there.  That Oregon player just plain lost it.  He really should be disciplined, both heavily and noticeably.  That kind of shit should have a severe penalty attached to it!

I went to bed in the middle of the third quarter so I missed it, but did catch the "lowlights" a few minutes ago on Sportscenter. Deplorable behavior!

aren't you just a tiny bit happy that Boise kid got drilled for acting just as deplorably by taunting Blount?

If I were the HC of each team, each player would be in the press box for the next game. You wanna teach a lesson but you need them to come back to see if they did indeed learn anything.

That was actually my first thought that the Boise guy got what he deserved and if things had ended right there, I woulda had no problem with what happened.
It boggles my mind that the college coaches can't get a handle on the taunting and show-boating that goes on. I get so pissed I can't talk when my Georgia Bulldogs do it! UGH!!!!!!

...showed the punch to make it seem more outrageous.  I agree with the punishment because Blount went after the fans in the stands too.

Agreed. If he hadn't lost his shit after the punch, he probably would have been suspended for two or three games at best. Dude went crazy and had me wondering if it was "Roid Rage."

All I saw is that he can stay in school and practice with the team.  But since he was a JUCO transfer and a senior, he now has no eligibility left, so he'll never play another college game.  What a jerk!  He has greatly reduced any chance he had for the NFL, which is probably the ONLY thing he wanted out of life!

His college career is over, but he would be a good fit for the Oakland Raiders
