Cole being a local guy, UCLA... I was hoping he'd wear the blue. But you being a sox fans.. you're screwed.., This gets the Yankees over the top.

I just want to know when Domingo German's status for next year will be resolved. He certainly deserves punishment but MLB doesn't usually require the death penalty for a first offense. And I can only imagine a starting rotation of Cole, Tanaka, Paxton, Severino and German.
how could German be so irresponsible and put himself in this position? After coming from such humble beginnings and getting the rare opportunity to become an elite pitcher on the "big stage. Ouch! Looked like he was on his way to an even better season, in spite of having more run support than any other Yankee pitcher, last year. Although he was approaching his innings limit, he had a few more starts left in him and that added experience would have been a plus.
Seems this is getting to be way too common among young, professional athletes.
I think the reason it seems more prevalent now is that with tougher policing, #metoo, and social media, not to mention a few hundred million people out there with cameras on their phones capturing virtually everything they do, it's just a matter of more of these athletes getting caught.

As I am sure you remember from Costa Rica, the typical "tico" treats his women like shit. Which of course is great for us, because it sets the bar so low for us, but this is very common in all of Latin America. The men are mainly raised to look at women as second class citizens and grew up believing it's perfectly acceptable, necessary actually, that when their woman "acts up" to slap them around a bit to get them back in line. I think that's the reason your list of Latino offenders is so long.
I won't go so far as to say I love Latinos, but I do love the fact that they can make even an asshole like me look good by comparison.
