Talking about getting a little payback on Carroll. He joked that Carroll should stay in college and that statistics prove it.

I just don't see him as a great coach. He will probably have more success at USC but I suspect the long arms of NCAA sanctions are on their way and he thinks it best to get out now especially if he had prior knowledge or was an enabler of some violations.

Seattle is a difficult environment to have continued success because the org. is so dysfunctional. Owner Paul Allen has a laissez faire attitude resulting in constant infighting among management full of big egos and power grabbers.

Organizations like New England, Dallas, Green Bay are much better for long term success with strong ownership. Every employee knows their role and knows better than to mess with Robert, Jerry or the Packers' board.

It's a lot easier coaching poor teenagers than coaching rich twenty somethings.

All I kept hearing about was how inexperienced Mark Sanchez was...well how many big games has Carson Palmer actually played in??? Palmer's playoff resume consisted of one pass against the Steelers in 2005 (before the unfortunate injury)

Sanchez played great, Palmer did not. That was the difference. Both teams ran the ball ball effectively, but Sanchez made some key plays.

What really showed me something about the Jets was when Nati had just cut it to 21-14 on the Benson TD, early 4th quarter. The Jets marched rigtht back down the field, kicked the FG and iced the game. Great drive.

Next week will be a lot tougher, but you never know!

The best part about the last two jets games is that Ouch-o Stink-o was shut out last week and only had one catch yesterday.
He really should change his name back to Johnson since he is one.
