I will confess to having some SEC bias having lived in the South for several decades now. That said, I think that although both teams can make a case for themselves, Bama only has one loss to OSU's two losses, one by getting blown out. OSU of course has a much stronger strength of schedule as Bama got to play an usually weak FSU team this year and their only other non conference win to speak of was against a pretty decent, but not great Fresno St team very early in the season.

As I said, I am biased towards the SEC, but for me the kicker is OSU is the Conference Champion and Alabama is not. For me, I am grudgingly going to cast my vote for the Buckeyes (and be thankful I live in Texas where I don't have to fear for my life after making such a blasphemous statement. lol)

What say the rest of you?

One last thing, I find it hugely ironic that both OSU and Ala would most likely be favored in a straight up game against any of the teams already in.

will always be with the SEC conference, even when my SEC team doesn't make it. Roll Tide Roll.

The FSU team wasn't weak in ATL v The Tide . It was Bama who put their stud QB out forever and that's when FSU slid into the gutter .

OSU shouldn't have gotten blown out by a Wrestling School and they would have been in the 4 slot instead.

Bucks fans , some of them being my good friends from the military , railed about the schedules and it turned into the old argument of BIG 10 v SEC .

Bama scheduled Mercer no different than they all do . UGAY played App St and Sanford this year and the War Clowns played Mercer and GA Southern , On and on

OSU had no problem when they leapfrogged Penn St which was one big commitee joke .

Besides , who wanted to see OSU get pounded by Clemson two years in a row .

Best of all , the clown a few threads below , Mr. Auburn , got schooled by toothless redeneck CottonMouth before the war Clown v UGAY game . Alabama will be in and Auburn will not .

IMO anyway

All I know is , I sure hope the Sugar , Rose and NC are better than all of the games yesterday .

I will concede a one loss Bama team is hard to pass over for a two loss OSU team, and as predicted the early line has the Tide as a slight favorite over the number one seed Clemson.

Personally I wouldn't mind seeing an all SEC final with UGA facing Bama.

towners favorite place to go after major events drownrown had a waiting line around the corner and down the sidewalk for the 1st time in many years and it was all UGAY fans spending lots a dough .  It wasn't even annoying standing in line with them because their excitement over the biggest win in a long time for UGAY was addictive and everyone had fun .

It would be a giant win / win for ATL .

Do forget that 3 of the 4 head coaches who are in are deeply tied to U of Alabama .

Last years exciting loss to Clemson really wasn't a big deal . Getting beat by the future Tide head coach works for many .

I am PROUD to be a bam’r hater! Though maternal grandparents were both die hard Bama fans, despite Snake Stabler being my hero in my early years, and naming one pet gerbil Joe Willie (the other was Pat, as in Sullivan)..... I became a RABID bam’r hater!!! and by bam’r I mean the ignorant, toothlees, obese under-employeed illiterate fucks that holler “RTR” everytime they see a person wearing orange and blue- .... and the dumb bastards will yell that shit to Gators, Drnver Bronxo’s etc! After Sabans’ 3 or 4 year at U of A, all these band wagon, Wal-Mart “fans” came out of the damn woodwork.... like the cockroaches in their trailers when they can’t pay the light bill!!! They were gator fans 10-12 years ago, and will p’bly become Clemson fans if Clemson wins back-to-back!

and AUBURN has never graduated a Goddamn lawyer, and I’m more proud of my school for that then ANYTHING that happens in a “GAME”! Everybody needsnfarmers and engineers, nobody needs a lawyer!
Well, that may not be true, since the great majority of politicians, they have written the laws in order to keep their soonbto be lying off-sprint employeed until daddy retires from politics!

if I had a vote for the last playoff spot, Alabama would get it.

Really? Well I guess we all have our favorites.

I am going to be honest, although I am a Badger fan... I was hoping they'd either win (and be in the playoffs) or at least not get slaughtered (So Alabama would get in that #4 spot). Alabama really did have a soft schedule this year and lost to Auburn, but Auburn is good. Had the schedules been stronger for most teams, we'd be looking at a whole nother playoffs matchup. So many had crap schedules and teams that are good... just didn't do well this year.

I am a Tide fan.

I think it is laughable though that Ohio St felt they should have gotten into the top 4... After that extremely embarrassing HUGE loss to Idaho? Iowa? whichever it was, they shouldn't have made the top 15 IMO. It's ok, I read all the news articles of Ohio St fans whining about how they deserve #4. BwAhAhA
