The Los Angeles Angels showed, again,  what a class organization they are. They voted a full playoff share ($138,000) to the estate of Nick Adenhart, the pitcher who was killed in an auto accident earlier in the year. Amid all the news about steroids, greedy players and other negative things, it's great to know that good deeds like this do exist in sports.

and I'm sure it's happened in football as well.  The old Brooklyn Dodgers used to include all sorts of people in their WS shares.

read about something like this in the future.

Don't know if he influenced the vote, wish he had bought the D'backs instead of the Angels.

The vote of the share is left completely up to the players who were with the team the entire year. They vote on shares for everyone involved except the manager.
