Baseball season..

I feel it's time to prepare yourself for a shortened season, or another season where the guys are not fully ready due to a shortened spring training..  This can not only impact the quality of the game but also lead to injuries.

Just not getting a good feeling at this time.. Usually the trucks are loaded by this team and boys are on their way to FL / AZ.

Billionaires are at an impasse w/ the millionaires, and the common man gets screwed.

What y'all think?

Which is ok by me, always thought spring training was too long. Teams will not have their starters go more the 3-4 ininging once the regular season starts. Probably looking at expanding the open day roster by 4-6 player to allow for extra pitchers.
Hitting might dominate early, as you'll see AA and AAA pitchers on the team. Everyday play will suffer a little, you won't see outfielder making crazy ass diving plays or ball hit into the gap being chased down at 100%. It'll be a slowed downed game the first 2-3 weeks especially in the cold cities. Warm cities will a faster game, due to hamstrings etc.
But by May it'll be back to "Play Ball"..go Doyers.

I doubt that they will be expanding the roaster from 25 to 30.. I think they will keep it the same. What, I think, may end up happening is that the starters will come in and pitch 2-3 innings for first few weeks, and then ease into longer stretches.

I agree that the 4-5 weeks of SP can be a bit much.. I am all in favor of keeping in 3-4 weeks.

I would really like to see the playoff WC game be a 3 series game, and not one and done

Still nothing.. Crickets.. I read that MLBPA declined Federal mediators, who have great success in resolving lockouts.
