You could of said the same things of Ricky Proehl,Fred Bilitnikoff and Danny Abramowitz at one time as well. All impact receivers and where critical to their teams success. Not that they are Lance Alworth but nethertheless they matriculate the ball down the field for their respective teams regardless of their race.

They reported on the Sunday Night game that Brady has a broken rib and a fractured finger on his throwing hand. Nothing definite on Welker, but an interview with the guy that tackled him, who happened to be the same guy that hit Brady when he hurt his knee, said that the sound of it was the same both times.
and he wasn't even hit, when he went down. He blew it out trying to make a cut. Brady has three broken ribs, and they have sucked in the fourth quarter all year. They're my team, but I don't give them much of a chance to get past the first round.
and these injuries have really affected him this season. But as he's proven quite conclusively, Brady is a winner!
