NY Giants name is offensive
Where and how can I start a movement?
I suggest going on strike. That is, ... 1. Hunger strike: set up "shop" in a publicly viewable place, where media (TV news, print news) can follow and document your protest. Stop eating COMPLETELY until the Giants change their name or until you are dragged off to the hospital or morgue.
2. Silent protest strike: swear off talking and writing (including e-writing: blogging, posting, etc.) until the Giants change their name. Be sure that your protest is covered by the media. Do not talk or write. Answer their Qs by nodding your head or motioning with your hand.
3. Buy a large number of Giants season tickets. Each day, in a public place, burn one ticket for all to see. Make sure that media reps are present. Tell the media that it is your intention to burn tickets until the Giants change their name.
4. March Against Giants or Giant Satyagraha: start walking from "home" (LA? LV?) to NJ to make your point about how important this is to you and any followers who join you along the way. By the time you and your millions of followers get to Giants Stadium (MetLife Stadium) in NJ, you will have made your point and the Giants will capitulate.
