Hi, I’m planning visit to San Jose next week, it’s will my first time. Can somebody recommend any nice ( not to crazy expensive) hotels and what is area more better to stay here ? Thank you

The Signia by Hilton San Jose (formerly Fairmont San Jose) in downtown S.J. was fairly nice the couple times I was there for photoshoots. This was quite a while ago when it operated as The Fairmont. I'm not sure what is considered "crazy expensive" nowadays but rates probably start somewhere around $260 up to ... something "crazy expensive!" :P

Used to love the Fairmount especially for a night out on the town, not best for hobbling/providing but it’s certainly beautiful!

But the responses you got are spot on, Santa Clara has far more options, a bit less hectic depending on when you have in mind and not all the hassle of parking restrictions or possible unwanted attention.

Downtown San Jose is not everyone's favorite as you have to pay for parking, plus it's not that central.
Santa Clara or surrounding areas are better. Palo Alto is nice as well.

Hotels are expensive during the weekdays in Silicon Valley, cheaper on weekends.

What about the area near the San Jose airport (SJC)?  I've never booked a hotel in San Jose, but I'm sure I'll have to at some point. :)  lol

Thanks!

SJ is my home base. I highly recommend Embassy Suites Santa Clara. It's actually between SJ and Sunnyvale, a little bit north of Santa Clara. Immediate access to the 101. Close to lots of restaurants. It can get a bit nuts on game day because it's so close to Levi Stadium, however.

Free parking. Busy enough all the time that there is no attention paid to visitors. People are milling around constantly. Cost is midscale -- around $250.

For something a little more budget-friendly, you might consider the Comfort Inn - Sunnyvale. Recent upgrades (carpeting, bedding), great little patios/decks with chairs overlooking the pool, and I was told the breakfast is quite nice. I've been here for a couple of outcalls. No problems. Free parking. Available street parking, so it's a bit more discreet. I think this one is around $150'ish per night.
