Is it possibly TOO coincidental that Melissa's telephone number
has the same prefix - 531 - as every telephone number at the downtown SDPD?

I'm wondering too.  The number on the review had a answering machine of some guy in the military.  The website had a different # (980 exchange - probably cell).  I've tried several times today (o.k. I'll admit it, the pictures got to me) but only got a voice mail.  Didn't get any response to email either.

Now that I look back, the reviewer only posted reviews since last month.  Oh well.

Let's see.  LE baits a trap with a phony ad, a phony web site, a phony review, and a phony telephone #.  So far so good, could be true.  Then they steadfastly refuse to contact anyone who takes the bait.  Am I missing something or is something wrong with this picture.

Sounds more like a flaky provider to me.

I'm very nervous about this stuff, but I agree with Dionisios. These guys may have lame motives, but they aren't (usually) lame. It's not cheap to set up a sting and I doubt they are going to 1) post lame questions on this board or 2) go to all the trouble of placing ads then ignore calls that come in. Having said that, I would suggest to anyone the age-old advice: choose providers with several good reviews by several known reviewers. Always a risk, but that's about as safe as you can make it... this side of the border, anyway.

Bonafidelover has written 4 reviews. Three of the providers he has reviewed have only been reviewed once. The other provider he reviewed has an inactive profile. 4 reviews, and I can't find any other reviews other than his. Maybe I'm paranoid, but I thought this was a strange coincidence.
