Howdy all. Looking for everyone's favorite steak house(s) in San Diego area. I love a great filet and have been craving some juicy meat lately. I have been to Donovan's, The Palm, The Cowboy Star, Fleming's and Greystone. I haven't tries Ruth's Chris yet tho! Does anyone have suggestions I haven't listed? Places in north county? Anyway, would love some input on favorite places for a great cut of meat. Ciao, Goldie

My personal favorites are Jake's in Del Mar, Vigilucci's, any of them, and to be very honest Black Angus has great steaks ant a fraction of the price, but happy hour at the expen$ive spots are always a great way to see if you enjoy their food before going BIG.  The Red Marlin has an excellent peppercorn steak.  When in LV because I know you love to go try Biscayne Steak inside the Tropicana it is lovely!

Happy Hunting Honey Bunny! Now I am Hungry...yummy post!

Google is awesome. Here is a Best of SD Steaks Link & another for N. County:

Ruth's Chris is definitely incredible, been there quite a few times.  Ever tried The Prado?  The place is the bomb!  There aren't a ton up here in North County...but it looks like the twins have taken care of listing quite a few...personally, if I want a juicy cut of meat, I would take a simple trip to the Claim Jumper in Carlsbad...I enjoy their prime rib!  Yum...

Thanks a lot, for making the rest of us HUNGRY!  haha!  :D

I love Flemings and the Palm.  I hear Albies in Mission Valley has great steaks at a reasonable price. My friend has been trying to get me to go to the steakhouse at Barona. Apparently they dry age their beef.

The Riviera Turf and Supper Club is fun if you in the mood to cook your own.

Been meaning to try Cowboy Star. I've heard nothing but good things.

Drop by Iowa Meat farms on Mission Gorge, or Cecil's off Morena and pick up your choice of cut, light the barby, and enjoy it the way you LOVE it.

These places have exquisite steaks

Oh, and if that doesn't appeal to ya Goldie, holler at me...I'll cook one up for ya!
