As per Mr Gumby's question; Yes, I did go to high school. Yes, I did graduate from collage over 30 years ago. I thought he may want a refresher course in civics.

THE BILL OF RIGHTS     The First Amandment:

"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion, or prohibiting the free exercise thereof, or abridging the freedom of speech, or of the press; or the right of the people to peacably assemble, and to petition the government for a redress of grievences."

Now, where in there does it give anyone the right to post a review of a service provider on the internet against their wishes? It says: "Congress cannot pass a law stopping you from posting." It does NOT say you can slander anyone you choose. Regardless of what you may think. Freedom of speech has boundries.

The "Law of Common Decency" says "You have no right to make anything public that is private between two (or more) people without the permission of all parties involved".

Following Mr. Gumby's thinking (or lack of), Those providers he has reviewed could and should post something about his performance (or lack of) here on this board. Now, that I would LOVE to see.

A guy asked a civil question (in a previous thread). I gave him a civil answer. Then MR gumby comes in and tries to bash everyone. Call it stimulating conversation... I call it bull. I understand his "right" to state his opinion. But, his flaming should not be allowed. It is guys like him that ruin this forum for the rest of us civil folk.

....the provider is a ripoff or provides poor service, in clear contradiction to her advertising.  What provider would consent to a review up front if she knowingly provides an experience far short of her promotions?

Reviewing is a judgement call in all cases, for a variety of reasons.
