A recent post asked hobbiests how close they are to providers and that got me thinking.  Guys, and Gals, how FAR have you traveled to see a provider?  My ATF is three hours away but she's definitely worth the drive!  Although I have traveled as far as Chicago to see a provider.  So I'm just curious, how far will you go?

Had an amazing request to accompany a friend to Cabo last summer (I still owe him some "thank you nookie" heehee) and Florida 2x for a friend who couldn't make out here soon enough! Still hoping to have a New York sponsor and adventure! Would hate to go just for work and not see any sights or partake in the multiple cultures, history and arts.

Europe is on the "to do" list as well but anyone who knows me knows that the east is my travel goal.

2 hours in a car for the sole purpose of seeing a provider.

When I combo it up with business travel 7500 miles :)

I once drove to Temecula to visit a favorite provider. Usually, I would see her when she came to San Diego, but at the time, I hadn't seen her in quite a while, so she invited me to come to her.

Another time, when I was in LA for a weekend, I had a few hours to myself, so I drove to a K-girl agency in Irvine. I didn't have any LA connections back then, so driving to Irvine was my best option. Even on a Saturday afternoon, LA traffic is awful.

But I wanted to see the city as well. Plus the infamous LR was there.

maybe LA, and only if she's well (reputable hobbyists) reviewed, but I've never actually ventured out of the county.
For someone I already know, I've considered hopping a jet to Vegas just for the afternoon, but fortunately, she visits often enough.

I've hobbies on a few different continents, but these days tend to keep closer to home.  A couple of my ATFs were or are based in Vista.  Its a drive from downtown, and goes beyond a simply lunch hour encounter.  I went to Temecula once.  Totally worth it, but probably wouldn't do that too often.  I prefer a location within 15 minutes of work, or located somewhere on the route home.

North county to El Cajon. Whew! the drive and the time change can be a real drag. LOL.

I've had a gent board a plane and come meet me from NYC in the past because his interest was piqued by a response to a blog on this site.........

Myself, I've traveled to Mexico with clients, and gone to NYC, DC, Florida,Northern California, Vegas,  Chicago.

Of course, I love travel, so it doesn't take much for me to jump on a plane and explore!
