Her new dates and prices are as follows. The price increase will go into effect on the first of the year. All appointments (and prior clients) made before January 1st will honor the old rate.

I have seen this done many times by other providers.  They announce a future rate increase so you better book now at the lower rate.  They also put in the clause that existing clients lock in this rate for any future appointments.  Then shortly after the rate increase takes affect you see a rate reduction complete with more marketing to take advantage of the new lower rate.

I’ve also seen this trend happening more regular this past year, a practice that should not be supported by us players.

I was seeking to meet April Aspen, first thru Ryan Conner, and most recently thru EZBIZWARD but her rates constantly changed and I opted to see another unlisted lady.

I don’t know in what world some providers or their managers are living in, but this kind of practices are known by us players and we won’t fall for it any longer.

As much respect I have for you for all the input you have provided us, I must disagree with you on this one.

I have friends, such as SFloridian that live in Florida, who is one of the most respected men of this sport there and he has always told me that porn stars don’t fit the profile a Florida enthusiast would be seeking to meet. I’ve been there a couple of times and he has provided me some direct contact of local ladies, whom I consider at par with the porn stars that I have seen but for 1/4 or less of what porn stars actually charge. He tells me that when a porn star visits them it is more as a vacation time than any other thing for them, the reasons why agencies don’t tour there unless the lady is featuring, visiting, vacationing, shooting for a magazine, live appearances, or filming with a few exceptions.

As for DC, I am aware that agencies do provide alternate pricing in order to attract customers but again, the quality of locals are far superior or at par with the porn stars that visit that city and paying much less.

I saw Ryan Conner last year and only paid $800.00 were Greek was offered at no extra cost. Perhaps, I was in luck that day or she and I got along. She, personally told me that her rates vary because of the quality of men she is seeking to meet in certain cities, except New York and San Francisco were her rates might be higher because of the travel arrangements being far higher than in other cities.

I’ve heard this from other unlisted ladies that book thru Mike that I’ve seen too. They have told me that the higher they go the easier time it is for them in the bedroom.

While what you say is somewhat true, for the most part it is a matter of supply and demand.  Another thing I didn't mention, but one that figures into the equation, is the cost of living in the respective cities... NYC has a very high cost for a quality hotel in Manhatten, so the prices tend to be higher there, plus there is a lot of people there, so the demand is usually high for a well known pornstar.

Fla. is a unique situation... there are SO many gorgeous models there, many who escort, that a girl who could easily get $400 or $500 elsewhere can be had for as little as $250/hr there.  So maybe the pornstars just figure the hell with it, they're not going to try to compete, and hold their prices... also part of what you say might be valid in Fla.  in regards to wanting to attract a higher level of client.  Miami has more than it's fair share of macho "pretty boys" who think that they're as much a gift to the women as the women are to them, so by keeping the prices high the ladies weed out the assholes... no offense to any of you Fla. guys!  lol.

DC is also unique, in that there are a lot of "movers and shakers" in the city, who can afford the higher prices.  It wouldn't surprise to me find that a pornstar or two had visited the White House during Bubba's term in office!  :-)

2K1 question was regarding Miami and DC and Ms. Ryan Conner’s assistant’s post were the supply and demand theory fails in my opinion, but if we are talking in general, I partially agree with the exception of a few cities we both mentioned, were the living costs are far to high in comparison to other areas.

A point well taken.  Ryan was my first PSE, and I traveled to DC to meet her, and saved a couple houndred bucks over going up to NYC.  I live near Philly, and it's a coin toss as to which is further, NYC or Washington, so I usually opt to go to DC.

I must agree with the above player too. I was also sent Ryan’s promotional Spam but it contained some of my personal information, something that is unacceptable and should cease from ever happening again.

I’ve already written them to express my dissatisfaction of this practice.
