As usual Robin makes a very good point. One day I would love to sit down and have a cerebral conversation with this woman.  

I think my biggest thing is that with escorts, where you can't see the face, more often than not I am a little disappointed by what a girl looks like in real life versus what I expect based on reviews. You see girls with pages and pages if all 10s in looks, who charge 800 or more, and yet often times in my book they are more of an 8 or 9, some times lower. I have never had that experience with PS - they look pretty much exactly as you expect. With respect to the sex, the girls with great reviews, both PS and non PS, for the most part earn them although nowadays you are seeing more and more manufactured 10/10s (frankly it is always a good idea to PM for more info from guys who have a credible history of reviews when paying $$$$$$$$$ to see a non PS with "all" 10s...). So yeah - the performance difference between a great PS and great escort are minimal imo. It's more about the look (admittedly I am very strict in my rating - which is why I am often willing to pay more $ to see UTRs, PS, glamour models, etc because I want a once in a lifetime to be truly that). But even with PS and UTRs, only a few will strike my fancy enough to want to pay so much $.

Yeah, the one thing I have found out in this hobby, is that the whole "you get what you pay for" is a load of crap.  Some of my best time with providers have been relatively inexpensive but very enthusiastic, and some of my worst have been pretty high dollar porn stars I had huge fantasies about but were pretty much dead fish.

Robbin makes no sense, whatsoever, you bootlicker.  Pornstars are celebrities in their field, which means that they have fans.  Having fans drives up demand.  This is not simply the case with porn performers.  It goes for anyone who has reached celebrity status in any field: cinema, sports, music, art, fashion, etc.  The more famous they are, the higher the appearance fee.

Isn't this how supply and demand works?  

The more desired porn stars can obviously going to charge more because the demand for their time is there.  It has nothing to do with being a major porn star or not.

I'd guess somebody like Madison Ivy they could meet with multiple people per day every day for $500 per hour, but she probably wants to do other things with her life.   So she'll charge more and weed people out who can't afford the higher rate.  Thus she doesn't loose any money and now has time to do other stuff.

Are you trying to say Veronica Avluv is price fixing to $500 out of the kindness of her heart and leaving money on the table?   I highly doubt that as it doesn't make financial sense.  These girls are doing this to make money as priority number 1.  Shes charging $500 per hour because that's what people who want to meet her can afford.  If she could charge more per hour and not loose money she would have made at $500 per hour then she would.

Honestly if I'm spending money on this hobby I'm going for the people that I think are the hottest and most attracted to.  With that comes a premium that I am willing to spend.  Nothing against Veronica Avluv but she doesn't do it for me and even at $500 per hour I would not be a customer, but I would splurge on somebody like Janice Griffith or Kayla Kayden if they were ever to become available.

Not all providers are the same.  Sure there are independents that look like they could be a porn star and that's fine, but if you are saying people should see Veronica Avluv over Madison Ivy because they are both porn stars and pussy is pussy, then I say you are wrong.  Those people satisfy totally different markets.  

I would be way more excited to see Madison Ivy.  To be honest there are many independents I would see at the $500 per hour price point over Veronica Avluv

You are completely illogical.  
If somebody has a choice between earning $3,000/3 hours of work or $3,000/6 hours of work, they will take the first option.  Prices are high because a fan is willing to pay more for a star he personally follows even if that pornstar may not have the wildest of reputations or the most varied of menus.  

However, not all the women doing porn are as swinger-y as Veronica Avluv.  Not all of them particularly even like being with men all that much, so expanding their client base would not work out in the long run.
