I haven't followed the TER board for several years. Is the PSE scene dead? I was a regular reader/poster on here in the 2000s. I remember when the late 'fasteddie51' was a moderator here and another poster named 'jb1982' helped me out in navigating the pornstar provider scene/etiquette and actually hooked me up with my very first pornstar. I know onlyfans, camming, tubesites, manyvids, etc. hurt the popularity of pornstars and gave rise to amateur IG models and influencers. Is the scene now dead or non existent? I miss the girls from the 2000s. I know many are long retired.I feel like you can only consider very few of the girls who have come into porn in the last few years stars.
But most of the girls who were of the last generation (mostly girls who shot for brazzers and naughty America) that I would consider “stars” such as Rachel roxxx, Eva Angelina, Amy Reid, Rachel Starr, Ava Addams, Rebecca linares, Madison ivy, Kendra lust, Abigail Mac, Bridgette B etc are all done escorting and aren’t coming back.
I have seen IG models & an Onlyfans model were available to be booked by various agencies.
And it seems fuck a fans are becoming popular among porn stars & onlyfans models. Some are raffle systems where you have to purchase tickets. Some are other arrangements. But in all cases, you have to be comfortable having your session with the provider recorded & used as content by the provider.

I don't think it is dead, I do think it slowed down for awhile during Covid and is now returning. Take a quick look at the Porncompanions and AI websites and you will see a large number of available stars.
Not only Covid, but OnlyFans. So many girls who might otherwise be looking for side work are making money there that there is not as much demand for traditional porn. I predict, like many things, that it's part of an economic pendulum. The economy has been hot and people (customers) have been swimming in money during the 'pandemic'. But that is all changing, People will have less free money for things like monthly OnlyFans subscriptions. That platform will shrink and ultimately push some of that talent, that is now hooked on easy money, into other ways of making money with relatively little effort...
The rates they are asking are ridiculous!
Years ago they were great to meet and many liked banging regular guys/fans
Now many have attitudes, not really worth their asking price.
Rates were reasonable for regular porn girls, a few hundred dollars, top stars were reasonable also.

I always appreciated the fact that TER had a community feel to it, everyone was generally speaking, helpful and respectful of one another. Most public online forums are not like that at all, usually the complete opposite.
I remember seeing a photo of the late fasteddie with the late pornstar Jessica jaymes together. I thought that was so cool at the time and she was at the height of her fame too. She was also one of my favorites pornstar and I definitely wanted to see her at some point if the universe allowed it. Now she is gone too (RIP). Seeing that photo gave me the confidence that anything was possible.
For me, 15 yrs later. The hobbying desire for (pornstars and civilian providers) has faded. Doesn't hold the same excitement and fun-ness (is that a word, lol) anymore. Looking back, the 2000s era was such a happier time for the porn industry and far less complicated.

I am beginning to feel the same way too. It’s a shame that this hobby is getting way overpriced and way to much screening dram and expose your identity.
There are plenty who are retired from making movies but are doing escorting on the side. The newer ladies tend to be in & out of the provider scene. In my experience contacting agencies is your best bet on finding who’s available. Next best option is contacting the women directly.
Fast Eddie really lived a charmed life. Certainly made me feel a bit better about being a hobbyist with a less than stellar physique. Ed got the porn girls without a doubt. A TER idol for sure. While the scene has changed, especially when that law related to trafficking came out that scared away all the escort websites for a while and law enforcement started putting the pressure on the higher end agencies.
