creating jobs, and those big bad Democrats in the Senate are getting in their way, and preventing all those new jobs.  ;)

The Huff Po selects 5 economists to give their opinion.  Surely, that has to be the most scientific survey ever conducted.  Why not have the Cato Institute pick 5.

Just to be clear, I am not saying that five from the other side would give a fairer picture, but if a leftie source selects 5 experts, you have to have some question.

You can find experts to say anything.

Let's look at these wild-eyed pink lefty economists cited by the HuffPo article.

1)Gary Burtless of the NON-PARTISAN Brookings Institution.

2)Mark Zandi, the chief economist of Moodys.

3)Carl Riccadonna, a senior economist at Deutsche Bank.

4)Joel Prakken, chairman of Macroeconomic Advisers

Could they be a bunch of loony lefties? Take a look at their website!

Why do conservatives live in a world where if you're not a right wing nutbag then that must mean you're a commie?

I said you can find experts to agree to anything.

Here is the test:  Can you find economists who disagree and support the policies?  If you can find economists who support one side, to have an article listing just the other side is a joke.

That article finds people who agree with one side.  That doesn't mean the other side is not existent.

Is that the chief economist of Moodys is a nobody that doesn't know what the hell he's talking about. A senior economist of Deutsche Bank doesn't have a valid opinion on economic matters.

Did you bother to look at some of the "job creation" bills the GOP were pushing? They were calling gutting the clear air act a freaking "jobs bill".

You might as well pass a law making all abortions mandatory and call it a jobs bill.

based on their data and analysis. If not, I don't want to hear it! Just because someone shows up on Fox, I don't rule out what they have to say because of it. If I have a criticism of what they say it is based on their analysis, data, or lack of it.  ;)

cause deep down even they have to admit, the issue is the economy and they have nothing positive to say about that topic. so they come up with the politics of personal destruction tactics....it's not working and they know what November will bring.

First, I do like and respect Mark Zandi of Moody's. Get a 100 economists in the same room, and you will 100 different description to the problem as well solutions.

Second, I don't think there is any credible Republican or Democratic plan out there today, tomorrow, or next year that will reduce unemployment. High unemployment is here to stay.

Third, companies large and small are really really good at managing their operations, budgets and risks. Companies are really really good at using technology, automation, and business processes to reduce the need to hire. If you need to hire, you go where the future is, overseas. That's where you build your future markets. That's called offshoring, a term Obama really doesn't understand or grasp.

Fourth, if you have the "right" education, the right skills and competencies, you will not have a problem finding a job. Unfortunately, we have a significant portion of our population that are functioning illiterates. What do you do with them? Seriously, what do we do with them?

Both the Republican and Democrats try to demonized each other regarding the various ills of our country, when they both know that the crux of the problem is that we have too many people and not enough work for them to do. And, the one's we have work for, have not received the education, for various reasons, to do the jobs that are available. A study I read recently, said, worldwide, that there will be fewer and fewer low skills jobs in the coming years, yet plenty of high skills jobs. And, what are we doing about educating those who we need to fill those positions? Very little, and it shows!

The plan for the illiterates is in full efect. Drug them, throw them to the justice system, then find any way possible to profit from that.
