Just wondering..Im looking at John Oxendine, he looks like he is gonna be on the ticket, FOR SURE!!

He's a states right advocate, and our x insurance commissioner..Im just wondering who you would vote for... All though I know your stance on issues are definitely on the right side of things, Im so much further ''right'' I make you look like a DEM..lmao (joke)..

I guess Im just wondering if your watching this race yet, and if so, who has caught your eye..Im a little dissapointed its looking like Kaseem Reed got Atl for Mayor, I think he is part of the problem, and wont be much different than Shirly Franklin..:(

Now wouldn't that be a tad interesting. His platform would undoubtedly be 'a whore and six-pack in every home'. Think of the possibilities. Now that i think, howsabout a 'six-pack of whore in every home'?

I've decided to make voting in GA really easy for myself... If a person is already in office, I'm voting against them... period.... doesn't matter what party they belong to... they've all had their chance to serve the folks who elected them and they have all failed miserably and instead enriched their own coffers.... so for me.. the new guy gets my vote...

Cheers.

I cant find them right now, but he has some speeches on you-tube where he talks about secession being part of states rights, if the federal govt doesn't back off, and stop infringing on our rights..

I pulled these clips from You Tube…  In part 1 Mr. Oxendine starts his list of 12 things he promises to do as Governor and covers his opinion of States Rights (10th amendment) and he states: “The Constitution first...party affiliation second”.  He also covers:

Jobs in GA

Pro-life

Education – he supports vouchers – “not the silver bullet…but we should have a choice.” and “Value the child”.

Size and scope of Government – he supports Fair Tax – Income tax is “fundamentally wrong”.

Elimination of our State Income Tax

Inclusion of the whole state of GA (he carried 154 or our 159 counties when he ran for State Insurance Commissioner – including Fulton County.)

These clips only cover 7 of the 12, but Oxendine is my choice as well.

As for the ATL mayoral race...I agree, Kasim Reed is Ms. Franklin without the big ornate flower.

FWIW I like your second suggestion best. Six whores in every home. For the Christians among us, you can have Sunday as a day of rest. lol

Seriously speaking however, I have not put much thought into the race as yet. My knee jerk reaction is to agree with you and TxTransplant inre to John Oxendine. I don't care much for his pro life stance, but that is far from the most important issue to me. His stances on taxes, states rights and size of government are far more important to me.
