is that about 3 months ago, I sat down for two days....going through all my bills at home and work. I cut hundreds of dollars of wasteful spending and increased profits at my business at the same time. And it chaps my ass that our supercomittee-superjoke can't and won't do their job. But it gets my blood boiling worse, while I am cutting spending, at the same time I am cancelling extras I don't need; all my bills are notifying an 8% increase on Charter Business. 3% on my manager program I use for invoicing. Groceries are through the damn roof and portion sizes going down! Thank God I only live 1/2 mile to my business so that I can at least not give the rest of my money for gas! they got their wars and we have a lot of broken dreams. Some trade off for them to keep us safe while making more enemies, and taking our rights a piece at a time. Who in the hell can we trust to clean up this mess? or we just in too deep now to turn back? I think we are comfortably numb.

The writing was on the wall 5 years ago. I might actually get back into AMR stock now that they can compete with the other Big Boys. Their hubs and routes really are not that bad. Service does suck though. Nearly as bad as Delta.
Baggage fees (and other assorted fees) are just a way of keeping more of their profit from the government looters. The ticket price is taxed, not the fees. (every dime counts)
