...to gays.  Exodus international, founded in 1976 will shut its doors and no longer try to convert gays.  They also profoundly apologized for the pain they caused gays.

So, what happened?  Did God tell them in 1976 that they should try to help people to "pray away the gay?"  Now did God tell them: "Sorry, my bad. Don't do that any more."

The idea that these organizations convince troubled people that their desires are wrong is just unforgivable. How many lives have they ruined? How many took their own lives out of shame? I hope exodus takes whatever money they have and pours it into lgbt charities and aid organizations, so they can actually do something good for once.
I also read somewhere today that Michelle Bachman owns an organization that still teaches this crap, so maybe more good news is that it can be used to destroy her evil ass.

here evil ass is being investigated for illegal use of presidential campaign funds that is why she wont run again. It's her husbands practice that promotes pray away the gay. I think he is a psychologist or psychiatrist.

They're both greedy, duplicitous phonies whose infinitesimal list of achievements ALL come under the heading of venal, and self serving.

They’re such a lovely all-American couple, and an inspiration to us all. :D
