Told Obama and his cronies in congress we Americans are tried of their Tax and Spend.

We dont want them running our Auto Manufactures, Wall Street, Banks and most of all we dont want their Socializes Health Care plan.

Hope they get the hint because the 2010 elections are just around the corner.

Oh my God, are you conservatives THAT desparate?  A republican won in Mass.  Holy shit, the earth has shifted on it's axis and all is right with the world!

Get real... Yes, it's a major win for the conservatives... More importantly, Conan O'Brien is dissing Jay Leno; now THAT'S news...

It was a major win not for the conservatives but for the people.

Now lets get back to Leno and OBrien.

The vote in Mass. wasn't about dems or republicans... it was about government not doing what the people want.  It was about backdoor bribery, it was about crooks getting dumped... The message being delivered knows no party name.. if a politician is there now and not representing the will of the people, the message ought to hit them right in the nose.  But, like you, I suspect the republicans will stupidly believe this was "their" victory and thus will blow their opportunity yet again...

pwilley hit it right on the nose. pwilley got it exactly right here. kudos!

Eddie, what you aren't getting here is that party has little to do with it.

Look at the last few elections. Republicans had a majority, and Americans wiped it out. They were pissed off at leaders who were utterly tone deaf to what the people wanted. When they failed to listen, Republicans lost their ass in the 2006 elections, and got pounded again in 2008.

Now, less than two years later, last night was basically a warning shot fired over the bow. Democrats are still polling higher than Republicans, but the politicians still aren't listening. That is why Scott Brown won last night. Its not about party, its about being represented by the people elected to represent us. If Democrats want to hold onto their majority, they have precisely 9 months to pull their heads out of their ass and start listening to the people who sent them to Washington.

There is no possible way that the GOP can win control of the Senate in a single election cycle. Don't be shocked though, when Dem's majority in the House is whittled away to barely more than a single vote majority in a single election night.

People are pissed. They wanted change and voted for the guy who promised change. The problem is, this isn't the change the people wanted. That's why the "Tea Parties" started, and why they continue to draw large crowds, and that is why a long shot Republican won in one of the bluest states in the nation.

"Told Obama and his cronies in congress we Americans are tried of their Tax and Spend."

Setting the horrific syntax here, perhaps you can point to any evidence that the Dems actually are taxing and spending. 1) we're still working with Bush's last federal budget. 2) no new taxes has been passed by the Dems. 3) Taxing and spending is far more responsibile than cutting taxes and spending untili you're blue in the face.

"We dont want them running our Auto Manufactures, Wall Street, Banks and most of all we dont want their Socializes Health Care plan."

They're not running the "auto manufactures". You could make an argument for them running the auto manufactuers, but you'd be wrong. I hardly see the Dems talking about putting regulation on Wall Street and the banks as running them, especially after they just lost 7 trillion dollars in value causing the worse economic downturn since the Great Depression. I don't know what a socializes health care plan is, but a socialized health care plan I would think would include single payer health care...that kind that the Dems said was "off the table"

I hope they get a hint too.
