There have been Chicken Littles all through history

Polarization has been intense for 30 years, but getting particularly egregious now. If either HRC or Trump is elected, close to half the electorate will despise either individual. The perils of nominating 2 of the most unlikeable candidates in history. Gridlock continues unabated. Goes beyond that, however. blue state residents despise those who live in the red states & vice versa. Just goes to the fact that with a huge population of 330 million, behind India & China, the US. has become ungovernable. Add to that pitiful public education system, epidemic drug addiction to opioids & meth & a crumbing infrastructure & we're fucked. The U.S. has been in a decline for over 50 years & I see no solution to stop it. In history, all great empires come to an end, now it's our turn. Perhaps this is too dire for many, but I calls em as I sees em.

Welcome to the Chicken Little club.

You and RRO should get together, you seem to have a lot in common. Except of course the fact that he is a Huge Bernie supporter.

and I think you actually understate the negative numbers for both Trump and the Hildabeast. Most likely OVER half will despise the ultimate victor, which means that many will actually end up voting for someone they despise. Now how's that for irony, when a POTUS starts off with a negative approval rating. lol

Speaking of the public education system... When was it a quality system?

There have always been drug epidemics, chose your drug.

Infrastructure always fails at some point. The people who rely on infrastructure the most, will complain that more of the infrastructure funds should go to education.

Civil war?... Americans are simply to lazy.

My observation of people who bring up the topic of "Civil War" are depressed

Then how am I a "Chicken Little" ? Lastly, if my realistic view of the U.S. is interpreted as "dire pessimism , than certain individuals should continue to hide their heads in the sand.

Too much coffee this morning?
At this time in history our problems are few.
Gun sales are up, murders and other crimes are down.
If corrupt , power hungry Hillary is elected, the whole country will frown.
When saber rattling turns into wars.
For the benefit of the World and your isolated self.
  Ignore Hillary campaign posters.
  Vote Trump 2016!

it's about time it went hot. nothing will truly be settled, at least for a while, until the war is won and the other guys flag drops

the libs have disarmed and failed, despite their best efforts, to disarm REAL Americans

the right won't make the first move

it oughta be a short war ;)

The first move can have many different interpretations.

I remember the "crash" of 2008 and the subsequent 7+ years of suffering through Obama. Each and every time there were Chicken Littles out there proclaiming the end of the world. Guess what, we're still here and most of us are still thriving.

"Some day" the US will get knocked off it's perch, today is not that day.

Lindsey has the potential to do an astounding job as a war mongering Queen, similar to Hillary,  but main stream media would never endorse/crown Lindsey Graham as President, thankfully.
His voice and mannerism is definitely on the feminine side, which  shouldn't disqualify him as a legitimate candidate, but Damn, this day and age if he's walking on the wild side at night, he should admit he's a she and start pissing sitting down.
In his defense he has one manly trait, his big mouth that never shuts up..

We have enabled supported  conflicts/ wars across the Globe for too many years .
A vote for Hillary or Lindsey is a vote for War.
A vote for Trump is a vote for Peace and Prosperity.

 Welcome back,
