Romney family voted 10-2 against Mitt running in 2012...

...Mitt himself voted against running!  Up until the day before he announced his candidacy, he still didn't want to run.  What a committed candidate; those who voted for him should be committed.

I voted against Obama, and would do so again.

but there is a difference between a "vote of conscience" and a simple "throwaway vote"

Truth be told, I would rather have had Romney as POTUS as either Johnson or Stein, but come to think of it, I can't think of anybody who ran in 2012 that I could have voted for with enthusiasm.

You don't like forced wealth distribution, or any of the other shit the Green Party proposes? I guess it's one thing for a Party to effectively steal your money, but to do it with a leader (Jill Stein) that should dip into the donation bucket to pay to color her hair, put a little make-up on, whiten her teeth, and buy some God damn clothes outside of Goodwill Industries (lmao)

OK, call me shallow, but anyone who has just a total disregard for how they look shouldn't even lead a Girl Scout pack.

It was going to be hard for the GOP to run anyone against Obama who could win. Obama is a damn fine campaigner. Too bad he's a pretty shitty President.

Things have changed. It used to be rather commonplace for Presidential incumbents to lose. But now, an incumbent hasn't lost 21 years.

Only about a quarter of US Presidents in all of US history have lost re-election. Given how bad our elections are at this point, I have doubts it will ever happen again.

We had three sitting Presidents in a row win reelection, that is hardly an overwhelming streak. Three out of the previous four lost their reelection bids. As a betting man, I don't see much of a trend here.

I will agree about Obama being a much better campaigner than a President. For very different reasons I am sure, but the end result is the same.

He was elected 4 rimes
in a row and died during
his 4th term.

Thats a run that will
never be broken....
Congress passed a law
limiting Presidents to
only two terms after that..

buzzer for Obama with another, so we can get over with the nonsense in four yrs. 4 yrs of Obama is not as bad as possible 8 yrs of Romney, who has flipped flopped on every single issue. May be Romney used to be a woman, before he decided to become a man..Who knows ;)

I don't believe in throwing away my vote either by voting for some Green Party candidate or Constitutional Candidate. Our country is just not there yet.

I voted for Frank Wolf (R-VA) for the House and George Allen for House and Senate respectively...

there are numerous things that could have happened to sour the majority of people against Obama. And, I can see why he and his family voted against him running. One person cannot be more successful as he's been, in business. So, any desire to become President of the United States was for pure ego.

You can call it ego, desire, ambition.. Whatever term you may want to use..

The fact is that he has flip flopped a zillion times on every single issue...

You may have heard about this or not. But there was a secret conspiracy going on in GOP to derail the Romney campaign by Gingrich and Santorum. They were planning to get on the same ticket and campaign against Romney. However, neither of them could determine who would be lead on the ticket, and who would follow...Oh well...

but I would have stayed at home if Santorum was on the ticket. Even I have my limits.

Let's see if  Gingrich will run in 2016, he'll have even less success than Gore. My worst nightmare would be if Ginrich ran against Santorum, there is no way I could possibly vote for either of them.

Santorum assuming a CEO position, I would guess that neither of them would be coming back to 2016. But if they do, I think Santorum would have a good chance of doing better, given GOP's history of nominating candidates the second time around... H.W.Bush, McCain, Romney just to name a few..

Rubio, Jindal, Christie, Cruz looks like the probables that would put their name in the hat...

The best description I heard of him was: 'the Weather-vane!'   ;)
