No, Bush did not punch Putin in the nose, when he invaded Georgia, nor could he have done much, if anything, when Putin choose to invade Crimea or Ukraine, without what most Americans would have viewed as unacceptable costs.

........."why do we have so many close Senate races? Republicans should be leading by double digits in many of the races. I'm betting we may not know who will control the Senate until early next year. Whoever turns out their base will control the Senate and since a lot of pollsters are calling landlines instead of cellphones, I'm guessing a whole bunch of minorities, and young folks are being under polled.
