You could easily reach that conclusion if you watched the New Hampshire candidate forum last night

Gov Perry, proving again that he is better prepared to be a candidate this time around, called the moderator “Joe.”  His name is Jack (Heath)….sign.

Gov Pataki, displaying an even more formidable knowledge than Perry of federal agencies he would eliminate, twice answered the “what agencies would you eliminate question, by saying “Obamacare.”…eh boy.

Gov Walker, proving that you don’t need a college degree to be President, told  the audience that his “right to work” law meant that Wisconsin workers were no longer required to join a union.

Fine, Dude but they never were – the Wagner Act requires only that they can’t work for a company that is unionized, unless they join the union and pay dues, not that they must join a union. Now Wisconsin workers get to be “free riders” – they can work for a unionized  company and not pay dues but still benefit from the union’s collective bargaining. Maybe you shouldn't have skipped class?

Senator Graham, the “Republican “Bro without a ho,” showed his laser-like focus on relevant 2016 issues by using his two minutes to bring up Bill Clinton’s “ I never had sex with that woman, Ms. Lewinsky.”

Senator Paul, who attended by remote TV link, explained he could not attend in person because he stayed behind in Washington to vote to “defund Obamacare.” Um, no Dude, the vote was on Planned Parenthood, not Obamacare. These little distinctions worry me.

Carly, who demonstrated her vision by buying a computer company as HP CEO because computers are the wave of the future right before Apple came out with the tablet, continued her car fight with Hillary rather than explain what she would do as President.

Jeb Bush, showing the decisive judgment we need from the Commander in Chief, said he was “not sure” if we should send boots on the ground to fight ISIS but he would take the military’s advice “seriously.” If only George had done that.

Even Followme looked slightly ill after hearing these guys. In fact, the only guy who looked Presidential to me was Donald Trump, and that’s because he did not attend

May be his own convoluted version but he will give one and the republicans will eat it up and up goes his poll numbers. Looks like Trump is smart. Looking at the clown car, he could very well get to the top.

Calling Perry out for getting a guys name wrong? Oh...the horrors! LOL

Making a semantical argument over what Walker might have said, vs. knowing what he meant?

Or god forbid, Jeb actually asking his military advisors for advice before he handles a problem like ISIS?

Wow, that's quite a list and all sounds like MAJOR news. LOL

Now...

Imagine how upset you would be if an R candidate lied about being under sniper fire and stealing valor?

Or was a complete disaster as SecState? LOL

Or was in cahoots with the "nuts and sluts defense" for her philandering husband, all the while claiming there was a "war on women?"

I can only guess your rage at an R candidate that for years lied about something so basic as how they got their name to curry favor with voters!

Thank God there is NO candidate like that out there. LOL

The intellectually honest libs like yourself would rip that person a new a-hole, I am sure! :D :

will usher in the downfall of western civilization. No more dicking around with small potato nuclear treaties etc etc, no more cellphone bills, no more telemarketers (sorry, Rachel you minx). Sweet. Trump-et us a new dawn, don!

H’mm.  So we should go with what the candidate “meant” rather than what he “said”?

We could do that. You mean like this

There can be no bigger lie than Dubiya and  Cheney taking the country to war in Iraq.    There is no bigger loot than paying for it by raiding the Social Security Trust Fund.    There is no bigger disaster than saying "the economy is just fine" two weeks before the economy and everything around it collapsed.

"Corporations are people, friends".    Can anyone beat that line ?

Are you really saying "Mr. Obama" said one thing 37 times, as documented by the media, but meant to say something different in all of them? LO

Or do you just judge on a case by case basis and go from there? Why do you never address anything ever said to you with an actual, direct response to the conversation with something that actually relates to the original topic?

This a guy the Republicans want to handle our economy?

Of course, if you  had a $147,000 a year salary and lived in a mansion with bodyguards and a state expense account, you  wouldn't necessarily pay off your  credit card debt either. Right?

Couldn't he at least do something really sophisticated like use his OTHER credit card that charges only 11% interest, issued by none other than God Bless Bank of America?

I can hardly wait for the debate question on how he can manage the economy when he can't manage his own finances . He makes Rubio look like a financial genius.

Maybe Scott should go back to college rather than run for President.

sounds like a normal person and not some Washington elite to me, Mari.

Can you imagine a true Washington elite, an attorney even, married to another attorney and then claiming to be "dead broke" only having to regret the comment when got called out on her bullshit? LOL

Now THATS the kind of financial guru we want in a candidate, right Mari? :D

Here is my take on what will really happen with the clowns:

50% Attack President Obama (that includes Obamacare, LGBT, Iran, Israel)
40% Attack Hillary Clinton (Emails, Bill Clinton, Benghazi)
5% Praise each other (Tax cuts and bankrupting the State, Union busting, Abortion ban, Guns)
5% Attack Trump (who the hell are you to be here in the first place)
100.00

About what they will do different.

0.00%

Firstly: no one asked you.

Secondly: what? Have you read any fucking post I've ever made on this website? Shut the fuck up.

Trolls like thisdud4u don't actually read. They shoot up a dose of ignorance distilled from the finest urine taken from the sewers of Planet Stupid and distributed by the Maroon Platoon. Then they read the name of the OP, to determine if the OP is friend foe or Provider. They will then interpret the Header to suit the preferred talking point narrative and respond with their pre-determined perspective.

You will note the side-effect of redundantly falling back on the same comment every time, geared to the OP and irrelevant to the subject matter. It is like a fingerprint. I no longer need to read the name of the ignored user to tell you which of the Troll Patrol has soiled the thread based on the tell-tale offal they leave behind.

The biggest irony of all is they are unable to recognize they are just as fundamentally zealous as the very organizations and religious sub-cults they so easily and eagerly denigrate.

Cheers!

BTW - Do they actually have a KKK without a hood over on your side of the Pond?

Honestly, I don't really know of anything that would match the KKK, historically speaking, over here. We certainly have groups and even political parties that are certainly horrendous, but to my knowledge not to the extent of lynching people throughout the course of their (relatively short, compared to the KKK's) history. That's not to say they don't exist, only that I'm not at all familiar with any.

Some of the xenophobic political manifestos you get exposed to in this continent though would make Donald Trump look like Bernie Sanders. Just a few names if you care to do some research; Pim Fortuyn, Nick Griffin (hell, the BNP in general), Robert Kilroy-Silk, Geert Wilders, the English Defence Force (which as best as I can tell is just a front for all the hooligans that have now been banned from attending football matches throughout the country), George Galloway, Le Pen in France, I could go on. The short version is there are horrendously racist wastes of bones and organs everywhere - they just present themselves in different uniforms, with different badges on their chest.

On a very related note, there is one politician above all who I can't stand, former (English) Conservative leader Michael Howard, who once ran in the general election under a promise to severely curb all immigration to the UK by a massive amount - despite the fact that his parents were Romanian immigrants to the UK themselves. The type of hypocrisy that you just couldn't make up; no one would believe you.
