...while speaking to the Heritage Foundation.  Maybe the GOP pander bear should study some history and learn what happened to Trent Lott after he praised that other notorious racist Strom Thurmond.  Lott resigned as Senate minority leader two weeks after saying:

“When Strom Thurmond ran for president, we voted for him. We’re proud of it. And if the rest of the country had followed our lead, we wouldn’t have had all these problems over the years, either.”

For a Harvard boy, Cruz is pretty stupid.  He should study the words of the famous Spanish philosopher George Santayana who said: "Those who cannot remember the past are condemned to repeat it."
