Which US Representatives received millions of dollars in farm subsidies and voted against the new farm bill that cuts snap benefits to millions of children?
I guess this is ok cuz its republicans not cutting spending and putting the govt dollars in their pockets........and his family have received $8.9 MILLION in cotton subsidies over the last ten years and he's quoting the Bible to justify cutting food stamp benefits, which average $287. per month. Can the GOP possibly get any more hypocritical?

Republicans created the farm bill to cut snap benefits to millions of families while lining their own pockets with farm subsidies... No matter how you cut it these republican representatives do not need the millions of dollars to line their pockets. This is exactly how these representatives come out of congress richer than they went in. This is absolutely pathetic. The worse thing about this is going to be is the farm bill out of the house will only get worse and this was never a partisan issue.
Snap benefits go right back into the economy there is very little abuse of snap benefits.
Here is another question for republicans
Name the bills the house has passed that has created jobs for the American people?

Because anyone who does not realize that politicians act in their own self-interest or is naive enough to think it is limited to one party is not intelligent enough to discuss politics with period....
Boehner who typically would not have voted for any bill to begin with, made a notable exception by supporting the bill.
If the bill was so great why did Dems defeat it? One of the reasons was that they were opposed to the work requirements that were put in place as requirement to get food stamps..
That would mean if you approve of the FB, you approve of piss testing SNAP recipients. 
IMO the bigger concern should be, amendments made to bills . That have nothing to do with the actual bill.
...but that doesn't energize the democratic base. Like the starvation of children does.

Why is it on this board that there is no serious discussion. The republicans have control of the congress. Where is the jobs bills? How does abortion bills against women have anything to do with creating jobs? How does voting on repealing Obama care creating jobs? When you have been defeated and there is no chance of these bills becoming law why would you pass it and waste taxpayers time?
Republicans want to say government doesn't work and they are proving it doesn't work cuz they wont pass any bills that will benefit the American people who are out of work. Maybe if the republicans would start to work for the middle class their approval rating would improve.
Also, most of the republicans are proving daily why our current congress is failing the American people. The way many of you act on this board is the exact same way our congress is acting. Compromise is not a bad thing.... its actually a very good thing because then everyone walks away with something instead of far right or far left agenda items.
Oh and to the guy that keeps asking about Obama care... you are repeating rhetoric. it does not become effective till 2014 and the cbo has project savings to the American people. So you cant prove your claims till we have actual facts.
Now that I have said all of this... I hope that we don't have name calling or ignorance of facts on some of these threads. So I will ask again why has the congress not passed one jobs bill which is the Amercans peoples both democrats and republicans most important issue in all polls.
