"I just believe that people would be working if given the opportunity." Though I would balance it with the idea behind why most of us dream of vacations and retirement. Most of us would like to be paid while not working. However, with that caveat, I don't think people are as lazy or unmotivated as say Paul Ryan or other conservatives seem to paint the unemployed.

and once again, just like people claim that life in the US is so bad, but people are risking life and limb to get here. How many people are moving north to escape the South in this country? OTOH people are moving from the north and going south in droves and have been for years. Could it possibly be that northerners are conducting these studies for their own purposes, one such purpose being to slow the exodus from the north to the south in such numbers as there won't be anyone left in soon to be ghost towns like Detroit???

And the only old people from the east moving south are the retired folks going to Florida. I don't see many moving to Louisiana. And yes, studies don't say much to me either.
