  Lying 'prone' with your face to the pavement is the prefered position desired/enforced by Riverside PD when conducting any communications with a citizen. They're a lovely bunch of thugs one hopes they'll never need call or deal with.  

   40 years ago they put my friend's private, sole proprietor record store out of business because he refused to be a bagman for the PD's private drug cartel.

It hurts  honest  LE and ordinary law abiding civilians  the most when criminal police  get away with flagrant  crimes .  

Good cop Frank Serpico learned quickly about corruption inside the department .

A few Brutal police will quickly destroy confidence in LE from the public's point of view   .
