Government meddling was largely responsible for the housing bubble. In 2008 three quarters of bad loans were on the books of govt agencies. Congress repeatedly pushed banks to lend money to low income borrowers.

He's right. Government is not protecting anyone by regulating that employees wash their hands. Customers would simply not go there. But trying to explain market forces to a Marxist pawn is like trying to teach a arithmetic to a chimp.
