Romney has no idea what's in ACA--and he doesn't remember that it's Romney Care.  No one on Team Romney is literate, so they can't read what's in it and program him.  Then there are all these provisions that Obomney I mean Obusha I mean Obama and the Dems in Congress have added some of which the MIT econommist didn't have in Massachusetts that are applicable to a federal law, and the media hasn't become aware of them and probably never will because $300 grand and a blow dry ins't enough to expect most journalists to read the plan either.

Here are just a couple tenants in the ACA that the media is too lazy to figure out that are positive in terms of health care policy. here is also funding for studies of best practices for treatment of a large number of medical conditions.

1) HAC rewards and punishments (Hospital Acquired Conditions)

Hospitals with significantly higher HAC rates will receive reduced payments.
We're talking about hospital acquired infections here like catheter induced UTIs or infections from CVP lines or other peripheral IVs.   This isn't insignificant, because the CDC data base shows that 100,000 people die a year from HACs.  That's a lot of dead bodies, and trying to keep them alive costs billions.  Romney's architecture is fuck 'em let 'em die as long as it isn't the family gathered at the 10 million dollar mansion or the famililies of the 25 billionaire sugar daddies for his Super Pacs like Crossroads. Oh yeah, and Carl Rove's family and but also maybe Sarah's.

2) Financial Incentive Links to Readmission Rates: 20% of Medicare beneficiaries get readmitted to hospitals within 30 days of discharge. That's one big ass number to couch it in refined sophisticated terms.  It's one thing for readmission for certain conditions like  severe COPD.

The way this would work is that under ACA, patients should be able to see their primary care doc (internist or FP) the week after discharge who should be able to pick off signs of decline or a condition that will worsen quickly and nip it in the bud.
