I never write on this board, but I can't resist this story:  I finally realized how much governments lie when I was in school in France.  I grew up in New York in the fifties and had been told since I can remember that Russian (Communist) women were just butt ugly.  The first time I went to what was then Leningrad, I was struck by the fact that there were more beautiful women per square meter than I have seen anywhere except maybe in Reykjavik.  I will never be convinced that the further right (or left) you go the better looking the women. Nice try though.

it made me believe that all Russian women were ugly but then I started getting this Russian bride spam and started meeting women who I did not know were Russian and were very  pretty with a nice figure.
