The family asked for peaceful protest and some did not listen.

They gave the news media what they wanted to show on TV.

So this has nothing to do with the Brown family!

I'm not disputing the video. I'm wondering if there is some other context, just like we are told by Mcculloch that a single piece of evidence can't be taken out of context.  Sorry, I find it "unusual' that one would rob a store in the neighborhood where they lived and frequented.  Equally, I haven't known that an affect of smoking marijuana is aggressiveness.  Dead men tell no tales.

Mcculloch's statement spoke of media bias.  Did that include conservative coverage of events?  No, it did not. He sounded like a defense attorney who just won an acquittal.

Mike Brown certainly contributed to the situation. My only dispute is I don't believe his contribution was enough to warrant his death.

So most people saw a defense attorney last night make sure a cop got off.

He directed the grand jury the way he wanted and got the results.

Also why did they release the grand jury decision at night?

The decision was made earlier in the day.

We all see what is going on here.

This thing is not over and it's still a federal issue now.

Some studies have found support for an association between marijuana use and various types of violence, including relationship or interpersonal violence (Moore TM & Stuart GL, 2005). However, no definitive correlation between marijuana use and violence in adults has been establish; the correlation appears to be stronger in adolescents (Copeland J, Rooke S, Swift W, 2013). Violence in anyone, including marijuana users, often has a multicausal explanation, with numerous factors impacting behavior, such as increased life stress, aggressive personality traits, multidrug use, or a history of violent behavior (Macdonald S, et al., 2008). Marijuana is also part of the global illegal drug market, which may increase the chances of violence occurring in some social interactions.

Additionally, when people are withdrawing from marijuana they can become irritable, which can lead to abusive or aggressive behavior among people with a history of aggression (Smith PH et al., 2013).  Studies have not found an association between withdrawal symptoms and aggression among those without a previous history of aggression.

Why do people become abusive or aggressive?

Using marijuana can produce strange behavior and reactions in people when they are intoxicated. These reactions can be similar to psychosis and paranoia and because of this, marijuana users may experience confusion or a sense of feeling threatened or frightened.

When people stop using marijuana they may experience a variety of withdrawal symptoms including:

sleep disturbance
irritability or restlessness
loss of appetite
anxiety
sweating

Experiencing any of these symptoms can make a person angry, which is an emotional response to feeling threatened or frustrated. Anger ranges from mild irritation to violent rage. Some people can express their anger in a controlled and constructive way while others lash out in an aggressive, uncontrolled way, either immediately or letting their feelings build up. This can lead to intimidating, violent or bullying behavior, endangering them, other people and property.

Then he changes the rules for this case compared to other cases he dealt with in the past?

Also this so called prosecutor comes from a family of cops and his father was murder in the line of duty.

Acts of violence against innocent people is often used and exhibited as the Best way to Protest violence against an innocent person.

I'm just curious though...if a White Cop Shot a Black Teen, why are the protesters attacking minority owned businesses? This goes back to the Rodney King case... where East Asian businesses were looted first.  Also, in Cleveland a 12 y.o. black youth with an airsoft gun (sans orange tip) was shot by a black cop.  So where's the outrage there?

Besides, if the cops are shot my son or I think they had wronged me, I would be more likely to attack City Hall or the police station than a liquor store.

Tears turned to rage on Monday night as Michael Brown’s family reacted to the news that the police officer who shot their shot would not be indicted.

Some disturbing words were caught on camera.
Initially in the video Brown’s mother, Lesley McSpadden, is seen standing on a car, shouting that she’s never done anything to hurt anyone and breaking down in tears.

Her husband — Brown’s stepfather — Louis Head climbs up on the car to comfort her, displaying the “I am Mike Brown” T-shirt he’s wearing as he wraps her in a hug.

Then things take a turn.

Head begins shouting, “Burn this bi**h down!”

t least one man appears to try to calm Head while others push cameras away from the screaming man, but he continues shouting the call to violence for several seconds.

Watch the video below (content warning: strong language):

In CNN’s report on the video, the outlet stressed the fact that Head is Brown’s stepfather; Brown’s father, Michel Brown Sr., has previously called for peace in Ferguson.

How did Benjamin Crump, the attorney representing Brown’s family, respond to Head’s outburst?

It was “raw emotion” and “completely inappropriate,” Crump told the media

If the news were to break in the morning, it would allow enough time for the flared tempers to cool down..
