...because the U.S. is closing our embassy at the Vatican.

This is obviously red meat for the mouth breathers and droolers who make up the majority of the GOP.  A cursory examination of the facts shows that the embassy is NOT being closed but being moved to the same building as the Italian embassy for added security and savings of $1.4 million a year.  And the new embassy will be one-tenth of a mile closer to the Vatican.

Oh, and the plan was thought up by the Bush Administration.

and I only WISH that Obama was anti religion, it would be one of the very few thing that I would agree with him on.

Too bad you had to point out that the idea was conceived under Bush, I would have been forced to give kudos to Obama otherwise, but it is happening under his watch, so I will give him limited kudos even if it wasn't his idea.

Taking credit for the ideas and good work of others and pointing the finger and balming others for their own fuck-ups.

Thank yo

...criticized the move because it's being done under Obama even though it was Bush's idea.  Stop patting yourself on the back with your claims of being an equal opportunity critic.

It does sound more like an Obama move than something the Bible Thumping Bush would do, but I am still all for it no matter who's idea it is.

Sorry that in my haste to give kudos for the action itself I did forget to bash the NRSC hypocrisy, consider them bashed. Yes it was hypocritical, Happy now??

Not closing but moving to secure zone with the Italian Embassy. The plan hatched during Bush presidency. Rush is yelling that Pope Francis is anti Capitalist.

Republicans have completely lost it.
