Open letter from Louise Hay on old prophesies doom and gloom and our future

Dear One,

The old prophesies that predicted gloom and doom for humanity were written when human consciousness was much different. In the last 20 years humanity has had an enormous shifting of beliefs and the old prophesies longer hold true. I say to those who point to ancient text to predict our future: "Just because something is ingrained in you does not make it true."

Remember, we once believed the world was flat. We can heal and go beyond our limiting societal beliefs that predict a future rife with fear and danger. We can think fearful thoughts, or we can align our thinking with the glorious possibilities life has in store for us. The future is up to us. We have the power to bring peace to everyone on the planet. We have the power to heal nature and quiet the tremblings of the earth. We have the power to make war an outdated thing of the past. We have the power to feed, clothe, house, and educate everyone, everywhere.

Come join me and millions of others in creating the mental atmosphere on this planet that will bring only good and expansive experiences for us all.

Affirm: Today is a time of wonderful new beginnings. I live from the belief that we are here to bless and prosper each other. The safety I seek in the outer world begins with the safety I create within myself. I am always safe and divinely protected. I feel confident about my future. As I release the past and my fears, I embrace myself and life in a whole new light of freedom, compassion, joy, and love. I release any need for struggle or suffering. We deserve all that is good. And so it is!

Love,
Louise Hay

You want a physicist to speak at your funeral. You want the physicist to talk to your grieving family about the conservation of energy, so they will understand that your energy has not died. You want the physicist to remind your sobbing mother about the first law of thermodynamics; that no energy gets created in the universe, and none is destroyed. You want your mother to know that all your energy, every vibration, every Btu of heat, every wave of every particle that was her beloved child remains with her in this world. You want the physicist to tell your weeping father that amid energies of the cosmos, you gave as good as you got.

And at one point you'd hope that the physicist would step down from the pulpit and walk to your brokenhearted spouse there in the pew and tell him/her that all the photons that ever bounced off your face, all the particles whose paths were interrupted by your smile, by the touch of your hair, hundreds of trillions of particles, have raced off like children, their ways forever changed by you. And as your widow rocks in the arms of a loving family, may the physicist let him/her know that all the photons that bounced from you were gathered in the particle detectors that are her/his eyes, that those photons created within her/him constellations of electromagnetically charged neurons whose energy will go on forever.

And the physicist will remind the congregation of how much of all our energy is given off as heat. There may be a few fanning themselves with their programs as he says it. And he will tell them that the warmth that flowed through you in life is still here, still part of all that we are, even as we who mourn continue the heat of our own lives.

And you'll want the physicist to explain to those who loved you that they need not have faith; indeed, they should not have faith. Let them know that they can measure, that scientists have measured precisely the conservation of energy and found it accurate, verifiable and consistent across space and time. You can hope your family will examine the evidence and satisfy themselves that the science is sound and that they'll be comforted to know your energy's still around. According to the law of the conservation of energy, not a bit of you is gone; you're just less orderly.

But is not a physicist who talks at funerals. But a liar. He knows he's lying. But that's his job, to lie.
Everybody in attendance knows that everything being said is bull shit. But they agree because that's what's supposed to be done and said.

What should be hired to speak at funerals should be comedians. Well, there is always one around and saves the day.

and yes anger is an energy
But you have to know how to use it in a positive way and not a stupid, destructive way.

You are making perfect sense tonight. I will admit that I have been drinking, but I have to agree that MO is saying she want to be lied to, and I agree that even if the lie makes her feel better for the moment, it's still a lie and should not be encouraged.

This is the 21st century after all, by now we shouldn't need fairy tales to keep up from being afraid when the lights are turned off.

First let me say that I am not any position to judge anyone, we all have our crutches in life like solvents, weed, food, religion, shopping or whatever to distract our busy minds.  I don't believe in fairy tales, nor do I believe there is an emergency room in heaven for all the wounded souls from living life.

I believe there is some truths in ancient texts that say All things work together for good.  And I would add, that I believe we have attracted certain events and people in our life to further grow our soul.  whether that be in self-love and setting boundaries to not be used or using our creative energy that comes from our higher selves that knows what it wants, it's desires.

Miracles are real, when I have helped someone that can never repay me.  I have seen blessings abundantly flow from other places.  Interesting woven life, that I have been in and out of light since my very first fear that I can remember as a child.  If you ever find your self STUCK in life, you will search inside too to find your strength.  Bless you.

You just don't necessarily believe in the Judeo-Christian ones, well at least you don't believe in them verbatim. To deny that you believe in fairy tales after all the posts you have made to the contrary simply is not credible, you've got hundreds of posts that prove otherwise.

are evolving, and yes they have changed from agnostic, to born-again Christian to a deeper search of my own spirituality.  You have witnessed a work in progress with stuff I have posted.  I don't know the answers, but I know there something inside me, some spark of light and life that tells me this Life I live is miraculous and a gift.  I am not powerless like I have been taught, I can take back my personal power over my own life at any given minute.  Even you told me that I could turn that boat around, when I said I was  "Like a river that don't know where it's flowing, I took a wrong turn and kept on going"
