May 1 celebration stems from the Chicago Haymarket massacre of 1886. The socialists adopted May 1 in the following years as their labor day. The USA celebrates labor day in the fall. So yeah, May 1 is a commie holiday.
Everyone is entitled to celebrate (or not celebrate) whatever they want to each and every day. If you see a parade today (May 1), do not jump to conclusions. Ask participants what they are celebrating.
