I wonder what happens if couple of huge black men walk in with AK47 in their hands!     I guess one of those Clint Eastwood movie scene will be enacted.

I bet you that place is the safest place in the state to eat. The chances of someone robbing it are now virtually zero.

Kudos to them, I think it's a great idea.

To answer your question directly if couple of huge "black" men walk in with rifles, I would admire them, unless they are pointing them at me in a threatening way. I haven't held a AK-47, and would love to hold and feel it.

If conservatives would say what you just said, you liberal loonies would lynch us.

Like GaG said that it would be the safest place. I have never really heard any mass shootings at gun store or gun range. Why is it that most of them happen in a gun free zone? Do you think that is a coincidence?

that started the same thing right after the Sandy Hook shooting.

VA is not an open carry state, and you can't flash your firearm like you can in the state of LA or FL. But the owner was offering 10% discount on the entire bill for those who carried NRA card.

No that would not be the same thing. One thing is a firearm, the other thing is a membership card.

Had you said both of these techniques follow a similar marketing campaign. I might be able to agree with you

you can't just flash the gun in VA. Yes, you can carry it in your jacket pocket or purse (for ladies). I am sure the owner would have used similar campaign if people were allowed to legally show off their fire arms...

BTW I got 86 to quit calling this moron, and countryman of yours by the name "Apu" Apu is a successful business man who singlehandedly runs the quickie mart. I think Hadji is a more appropriate name for this partisan fool.

Your thoughts, if any? lol

Our elementary schools are supposed to be the most harmless places with 4 to 8 years olds!    The Sikh temple in Oak Creek, WI is a sacred place where people pray and worship!   Does not matter what religion they belong.

JFK was assassinated, Robert Kennedy was assassinated, President Regan was ambushed and but for the Secret Service, the current President I can't say anything.

There is no safe place anywhere in this country.

so they can get free anchovies on their pizza pie. I find the comparison of a firearm to a membership card absurd.

The reasoning for my finding of such a comparison to be absurd. Not every citizen who legally owns/carries a firearm is a registered member of the National Rifle Association... and as I mentioned before one is a handgun the other is a membership card.

The comparison is faulty! Would you agree that a membership card is not the equivalent of an actual firearm?

Perfect public relations with the gun owning public, and he never needs give the police a free cup of coffee again. I hope other small businesses follow his wise example.

But telling the bad guys, "come to our school, no one carries a gun here", is the stupidest thing in the world. Bad guys know that the law abiding citizens will not carry a gun in Federal building or on school campus.

Don't tell me what they are supposed to be.. Are they safe? No.. And the only reason why they are not is because they are gun free zone...

Here is the hint for you.. If you already haven't figured it out.. Crooks, lunatics and deranged people don't give two shits about laws..

Seat belts are designed to safeguard against injuries. Why is it that motorist are injured by LE officers when they are accused of being in violation of the national legislation, which was supposedly written to keep motorists safe?

Too many laws are dangerous for the American citizen

I was not talking about any laws.   The town where the PA cop shooter lived is a gun friendly place.    Yet the people were told to say indoor locked in because there is a bad guy with a gun.     So, even gun friendly towns  are not safe!  LOL.

I say again does not matter gun free or gun friendly, there is no safe place in this country.    Elementary schools are where little kids go to school first.   They need books not GUNS!

That education and good family values, which teach that to resolve the issues in peaceful manner are key to solving culture of violence in our country.

That being said when a guy with a gun comes in front of you, threatening to kill you, you NEED a gun to protect yourself. 9/10 times you are not going to be able to calm him down. And in protecting our rights to defend ourselves, I don't see what is so wrong with celebrating our 2nd Amendment.

Why do you chose to ignore this fact? The majority of American citizens are occupying land which they are the successor of.

This basic fact ends any gun debate. The books tell me that citizens need guns.

Gee, in my 73 years I have lived in places like NYC, Philly, Metairie (NO), St. Louis, Cleveland and Dayton and never thought for a moment I needed a gun.    None of my family or extended family members ever had or going to buy a gun.

It just does not fit in to our heritage and culture.   How can you celebrate something that is killing thousands of innocent people every month!    Must be mentally disturbed or retarded to celebrate dead bodies.
