It's not often when you can prove your entire point with just a single photograph, but here it is.

Revolutions are fine if they're throwing off dictators overseas, but when a revolution is aimed at overthrowing a corporate oligarchy, it's better not to incite the natives.

The protesters overthrew Mubarak. When the state apparatus (in Egypt's case, the military) decided to side with the protesters, there was no one left to protect Mubarak.

This is why OWS has been smart in asking the police to take their side, and why the GOP were IDIOTIC to target the pensions and bargaining power of public employee unions like the cops.
