I'm usually not a big fan of these sort of threads, especially this far out from election day, but since we won't have an incumbent in 2016, and since the leadership ranks of both parties look a little thin right now, and since it's a little slow around here, I figure this might be fun.
Obviously, Hilary will run. I hope she doesn't win. She's too old.
But who else? I think Jeb Bush will probably run. Rick Perry. Probably Nikki Haley and Rubio.
On the Democratic side I could see Martin O'Mally, Cory Booker, and Biden getting in the ring.
Any other names come to mind?
...attacking. Bill O'Reilly is hammering Clinton over Benghazi, O'Malley for the Baltimore city jails and Cuomo for not supporting Jessica's law. It's like Whac-A-Mole -- as soon as a potential candidate's name is mentioned, Fox tries to dig up some dirt on him/her.
I agree Clinton will be too old but there's something else - people don't respect someone they call by their first name. "Familiarity breeds contempt." That's one reason why "Newt" and "Mitt" had no chance. Even when she was a senator and Secretary of State, Clinton was still referred to as "Hillary."
Rubio, Ryan, Perry - all last names. If they start calling Gov. Haley "Nikki", she's got no chance.
It's one of those two or I won't bother voting at all.
