if it's a protest in Syria or some other evil country they show it on the news and the people are heroes and freedom fighters, fighting for a good cause. They also show how the government kills it's own people and they are.
But if it's a demonstration in London. Then the people are low class criminals taking advantage to steal electronics, jewels or whatever.
If it happens like in Israel - is not happening or they are just a few trouble makers. Nothing the local police can't take care of.
When it happens all of the sudden everywhere and at the same time. I won't make a difference to differentiate them. But then again that's what they wants to do. To go wild in the streets.
