Seriously though, I have been active on this board for several years and every few months someone makes a big deal about how unfriendly, or rude, or how the posts have no depth. Truth be told the board is no more or less polite than it has ever been.
BTW, it's not the Presidents debt. He may be responsible for running the debt up, but you and I are the ones expected to pay the debt.
Did you see my post below about laptop searches of international travelers?
If you already knew they could do this (I didn't) never mind, but otherwise this might be useful information for you to have given that you probably travel more than any of us.

IMO it's shocking that these types of arbitrary and I am sure previously consider unconstitutional searches are allowed. I doubt that it will ever effect me, as I don't save "nekked pictures" on my laptop, but that doesn't mean that I am shocked any the less.
From personal experience, I have had no problems going through Immigration through any country, with the possible exception of Canada. I have learned not to admit to be traveling on business when entering or leaving our neighbor to the north. I have spent 45 minutes explaining exactly what type I business I was conducting until I was about to just turn around and go back home. The last time I went to Canada, (about 3 months ago) I simply told them I was there to go fishing and was waved through with an enthusiastic "welcome to Canada" lol
I have not had a single issue traveling to any country in South America, even having admitted to still being drunk has not caused me any problems, even is so called high security airports like Bogota.
I still find your thread highly disturbing, even though it has not effected me. I hate giving to much power to minimum wage earning high school dropouts with their first taste of authority. A reject with no social skills who all of a sudden has a badge can be a scary thing.

The is NO humor in "Sarah Palin's down syndrome child". There is NO humor in any "down syndrome child" ever, under any circumstance. It has nothing to do with Politics or Religion. I believe Sarah Palin handled that aspect of her life with courage, grace and humility, openely for all the world to see. She has lived with the jokes and remarks and no doubt will continue to do so.
It was one of the reasons I like here.
