Deporting illegals is hardly a new thing, I remember quite well having INS rounding up illegals as far back as I can remember growing up in California back in the sixties. Old Full O'Bluster Trump's executive order to withhold federal funding from sanctuary cities was a bullshit order to make his Trumptards happy.
Several cities sued Trump over his executive order. At one hearing, the City of San Francisco and Santa Clara County alleged that Trump threatened to deprive them each of $1 billion. Trump fired all the US attorneys so he was left with the second and third string scrubs to defend his executive order from lawsuits brought by several cities. Acting Assistant Attorney General Chad Readler said it would affect only about $1 million in grants to Santa Clara and possibly no money at all in grants to San Francisco.
The District Judge said "WTF?!" and asked A.D.A. Readler what the fucking point of the fucking executive order was if it had so little fucking effect. Before Readler shit his pants, he admitted that the executive order was bullshit. He said Trump was just using his ‘bully pulpit’ to highlight an issue he cares deeply about.
But I'm sure TER rightards were overjoyed that the leader of their party was so "tough" on sanctuary cities. Acting A.D.A. Readler is called "Acting" because he acts as if he's a real lawyer; TER rightards are "Acting" too...they're acting as if they have brains when they post.
I think Trump means exactly what he says, but his lawyers are trying to argue a case in court, which Trump stepped all over, and because of that, the judge wasn't buying their assertions.
