I used to believe in God until I went to the casino the other night. We were playing 40-80 limit Texas Hold'em and we both have pocket pair - I have AA and she has 44. We both flop a set and we raise and re-raise and there is a lot of money in the pot. Then she catches one more 4 on the river and there I go raising and re-raising and losing it all... that's when I figured, there is no f*&%ing God.
but nothing can protect you from hands like that, not even Charlie. lol
That's pure operant conditioning using a variable interval reinforcement schedule, which is the most effective way in getting someone to do something the most amount of times with the least amount of pay-off. If you really want God to show up, try using that money to help some people in real need. Won't guarantee He'll show up, but your odds are much greater!
